Local Church Review

 

The Local Church Review is a replacement to the previous Quinquennial Inspection undertaken by Presbytery of each congregation in Kincardineshire and Deeside - Other Presbyteries are looking at their congregations too. We will be reviewed by a small team comprising Rev. Linda Broadley, Mr Ian Mechie and Mr David Platt.

Stages and dates

 

10th October - Final Part 1 and 2 documents submitted to LCR team

12th October - LCR team meet with Kirk Session

12th October - LCR team attend morning worship at united service at Fettercairn and then meet with the congregation - despite having an anti-bribery policy we WILL be tempting all members to attend by offering a Soup and Sweet Lunch as part of the proceedings

TBA - LCR team issue draft report

TBA - LCR team meet with Kirk Session to present findings and receive feedback

TBA - Final report submitted to Presbytery

TBA (4th December?) - Report tabled at Presbytery and appropriate deliverances agreed
